Stihl RB 600 Instruction Manual

To start the Stihl RB 600, first ensure it is on a flat surface. Connect the high-pressure hose and water supply, and turn the water on fully. Move the choke lever to the 'Choke' position. Turn the engine switch to 'On', then pull the starter grip briskly. Once the engine starts, move the choke to the 'Run' position.
If the RB 600 is not producing enough pressure, check for obstructions in the hose or nozzle. Make sure the water supply is fully open and that the inlet filter is clean. Inspect the high-pressure hose for leaks or damage. Ensure that the correct nozzle is attached securely.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 50 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Use only high-quality detergent oil rated SAE 10W-30 for the best performance.
Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content. Stale or contaminated fuel can cause engine performance issues.
Regularly inspect the pump for leaks or damage. Ensure that the water inlet filter is clean and free of debris. After each use, relieve the system pressure and drain any water from the pump to prevent freezing or corrosion.
To store the RB 600 during winter, drain all water from the pump and hoses. Add fuel stabilizer to the gas tank and run the engine for a few minutes to circulate. Store the unit in a dry, sheltered area to protect it from freezing temperatures.
To clean the nozzle, turn off the pressure washer and disconnect the spray wand. Use a small brush or a nozzle cleaning tool to remove debris from the nozzle tip. Flush with water to ensure it's clear before reattaching.
If the RB 600 starts but stalls, check the air filter for dirt or obstructions. Ensure the fuel is fresh and that the choke is in the correct position. Inspect the spark plug and replace if necessary.
To reduce vibration, ensure that all components are securely fastened and that the surface is stable. Check that the engine mounts are in good condition and that the pressure washer is properly balanced during use.
Always wear protective eyewear and gloves when operating the RB 600. Keep bystanders away from the work area. Avoid pointing the spray at electrical sources or people. Ensure all connections are tight and secure before starting the unit.
