To start the Stihl HSA 94 R and HSA 94 T, ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Press the lock button and then the trigger switch to start the motor.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the blades after each use, checking for loose screws, and lubricating the blades with Stihl resin solvent or a similar product.
Check the battery for sufficient charge, ensure it is correctly inserted, and inspect the terminals for corrosion. Make sure the trigger and lock button are functioning properly.
Use a flat file or rotary tool to sharpen each cutting edge at the original angle. Regularly check the blade for any damage or wear and replace if necessary.
Store the battery in a cool, dry place, avoid fully depleting it before charging, and remove it from the charger once fully charged. Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures.
The HSA 94 R is designed for rough trimming with a high torque motor, while the HSA 94 T is optimized for precision trimming with a higher blade speed.
Lubricate the blades after every use to ensure smooth operation and to prevent rust and sap build-up.
It is not recommended to use the Stihl HSA 94 R or HSA 94 T in wet conditions as it may damage the motor and electrical components.
Turn off the trimmer and remove the battery. Use a soft brush to remove debris from the blades and housing, then wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid using water or solvents on the motor.
Clean the trimmer thoroughly, lubricate the blades, remove the battery, and store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
