To attach the FBD-KM to your KombiMotor, ensure the engine is off and cool. Align the drive tube with the coupling sleeve on the KombiMotor, then insert the attachment until it clicks into place. Secure it by tightening the clamping knob.
First, check the fuel level and ensure the unit is filled with fresh fuel. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage. If issues persist, clean the air filter and check the fuel filter for blockages.
Clean the air filter after every 10 hours of use or more frequently if used in dusty conditions. To clean, remove the filter, wash it with warm soapy water, rinse, and allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.
Store the FBD-KM in a dry, sheltered area away from direct sunlight. Before storage, clean the attachment and inspect it for any damage. It is recommended to detach it from the KombiMotor to prevent stress on the coupling.
Regularly check and maintain sharpness of the blades, clean the unit after use, and ensure all fasteners are tight. Regular maintenance and use of high-quality fuel and oil will help maintain optimal performance.
Excessive vibration can be caused by loose parts or damaged blades. Stop the engine and inspect the attachment for any loose screws or damaged components. Tighten any loose parts and replace damaged blades as needed.
No, it is not normal for the FBD-KM to emit smoke. This could indicate an oil or fuel issue, or a blocked air filter. Stop using the device immediately and inspect for leaks or blockages, and ensure the correct fuel mixture is used.
Regular maintenance tasks include cleaning the air filter, checking and sharpening blades, inspecting for loose fasteners, and ensuring the fuel system is clean and free of blockages. Refer to the user manual for a detailed maintenance schedule.
Ensure the engine is off and cool. Use the appropriate tool to remove the blade-mounting screws, then carefully remove the old blades. Install the new blades, ensuring they are properly aligned, and securely tighten the screws.
Always wear appropriate protective gear, including gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection. Be aware of your surroundings and ensure the area is clear of bystanders, especially children and pets. Operate the FBD-KM according to the manufacturer's instructions.
