Spektrum SPM3140 Quick Start Guide

To bind your Spektrum SPM3140 Transmitter to a receiver, power on the transmitter while holding the bind button. Then, power on the receiver and wait for the LED to become solid, indicating a successful bind.
First, ensure the batteries are properly installed and fully charged. If the problem persists, check for any loose connections or damage to the battery compartment.
Connect the transmitter to your computer using a USB cable and use the Spektrum updater software to download and install the latest firmware updates.
The Spektrum SPM3140 Transmitter typically has a range of approximately 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) in open conditions, though this can vary based on environmental factors.
To perform a factory reset, navigate to the system setup menu on the transmitter, select 'Factory Reset', and confirm your selection. This will restore all settings to their default values.
Interference, low battery power, or physical obstructions can cause connection loss. Ensure the transmitter and receiver are fully charged and that there is a clear line of sight between them.
Access the calibration menu in the settings, follow the on-screen prompts to move the sticks through their full range of motion, and save the new calibration settings.
Regularly check for firmware updates, clean the transmitter with a soft cloth, inspect for any physical damage, and ensure all switches and buttons function correctly.
Go to the model setup menu, select 'Add New Model', and follow the prompts to configure the model type, name, and channel assignments.
To change the mode, access the system setup menu, select 'Mode Selection', and choose the desired mode (Mode 1, Mode 2, etc.). Follow the instructions to recalibrate the controls if necessary.
