To perform a factory reset on your Sony XBR-65X900B, go to Settings > Storage & Reset > Factory Data Reset > Erase Everything. Confirm the action to reset the TV to its original settings.
First, ensure the TV is properly plugged into a working power outlet. Check the power cable and connections. Try a different power outlet or power cable if possible. If the issue persists, unplug the TV, wait for a minute, and plug it back in. If it still doesn't turn on, consider contacting Sony customer support.
Press the Home button on your remote, go to Settings > Network > Network Setup > Set up network connection. Choose Wi-Fi, select your network, and enter the password. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
To update the firmware, press the Home button on the remote, navigate to Settings > Customer Support > Software Update. If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to install it. Ensure the TV is connected to the internet during this process.
Poor picture quality may be due to incorrect settings. Check the Picture Settings and ensure the TV is set to a suitable mode for your content (e.g., Cinema, Standard). Also, verify that all cables are securely connected and in good condition. If using external devices, ensure they are outputting at the correct resolution.
To enable HDR, press the Home button, go to Settings > External Inputs > HDMI signal format, and set it to Enhanced format for the HDMI port in use. Ensure your content and device are HDR-compatible.
Check the batteries and replace them if needed. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV. You can also try resetting the remote by removing the batteries, pressing all the buttons twice, and then reinserting the batteries.
To set up parental controls, press the Home button, go to Settings > Parental Lock (Broadcast) > PIN Code, and set your desired restrictions. You can block specific channels or content based on rating.
For color calibration, access Picture Settings from the Home menu. Adjust parameters like Backlight, Brightness, Contrast, and Color to your preference. Using a calibration disc or professional calibration service can help achieve optimal results.
First, ensure the volume is not muted or too low. Check audio settings in the menu to ensure the correct output is selected. Verify that all cables are properly connected. If using external speakers, ensure they are powered on and properly configured.
