To connect your Sony KDL-60W850B to Wi-Fi, go to Home > Settings > Network > Network Setup. Select 'Wireless Setup' and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
To perform a factory reset, go to Home > Settings > System Settings > Customer Support > Factory Settings. Confirm the reset by selecting 'OK'.
If the screen goes black, check if the TV is on by pressing the power button. Ensure all cables are securely connected. If the issue persists, try unplugging the TV for a few minutes and then plugging it back in.
To update the software, go to Home > Settings > Customer Support > Software Update. Follow the instructions to download and install any available updates.
The Sony KDL-60W850B does not support built-in voice commands. However, you can use external devices like a Google Home or Amazon Echo with compatible setups for voice control.
To enhance picture quality, go to Home > Settings > Picture & Display > Picture Adjustments. Adjust settings like brightness, contrast, and color to your preference.
Check if the TV is muted or if the volume is too low. Ensure that external audio devices are properly connected and that the correct audio output is selected in the settings.
Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the screen. Avoid using any cleaning liquids or sprays directly on the screen to prevent damage.
First, replace the batteries in the remote. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and TV. If it still doesn't work, try resetting the remote by removing the batteries and pressing all buttons.
To set up parental controls, go to Home > Settings > Parental Lock (Broadcast). Enter or create a PIN and select the programs and channels you wish to restrict.
