To connect your Sony KDL-60EX720 to a Wi-Fi network, go to 'Home', select 'Settings', then 'Network', and choose 'Network Setup'. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Ensure that all cables are securely connected. Check the TV source/input to make sure it matches the connected device. Try a different HDMI port or cable if the problem persists.
To update the firmware, press 'Home' on the remote, go to 'Settings', select 'Support', and choose 'Software Update'. Follow the instructions to complete the update process.
Check the volume level and ensure the TV is not muted. Verify that 'Audio Output' settings are correctly set. If using external speakers, ensure they are turned on and properly connected.
To perform a factory reset, press 'Home' on the remote, go to 'Settings', select 'System Settings', then 'Customer Support', and choose 'Factory Settings'. Confirm to reset the TV to its original state.
The Sony KDL-60EX720 does not natively support Bluetooth audio output. Consider using a Bluetooth transmitter connected to the audio output ports if you wish to use Bluetooth headphones.
For optimal viewing, set Picture Mode to 'Cinema' or 'Custom', adjust backlight to your preference, set contrast and brightness to medium levels, and turn off any extra features like 'Motionflow'.
Restart your TV and router. Ensure your network settings are correct. Use an Ethernet cable for a more stable connection if Wi-Fi issues persist. Check for firmware updates that might address network issues.
Press the 'Subtitle' button on your remote control. If watching digital broadcasts, subtitles can be enabled through the 'Options' menu by selecting 'Subtitle Settings'.
Check the power settings to ensure 'Eco Mode' or 'Sleep Timer' are not enabled. Ensure all cables are secure, and consider a factory reset if the issue continues.
