To connect your Sony KDL-50W800B to Wi-Fi, press the Home button on the remote, go to Settings > Network > Network Setup > Wireless Setup, and follow the on-screen instructions to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Ensure the TV is plugged in and the power outlet is functioning. Try pressing the power button on the TV itself. If the problem persists, unplug the TV for a few minutes and then plug it back in.
To update the firmware, press the Home button on the remote, go to Settings > Customer Support > Software Update, and follow the prompts to check for and install any available updates.
Check the input source and cables for any issues. Adjust picture settings by pressing the Home button, navigating to Settings > Picture & Display, and making necessary adjustments. Ensure the TV is set to the correct picture mode for your content.
To perform a factory reset, press the Home button on the remote, navigate to Settings > Storage & Reset > Factory Data Reset, and follow the on-screen instructions. Note that this will erase all user settings and data.
The Sony KDL-50W800B does not natively support Bluetooth audio connections. You may need a Bluetooth transmitter connected to the TV's audio output to use Bluetooth headphones.
