To connect your Sony KDL-46EX720 to a Wi-Fi network, press the Home button on your remote, navigate to Settings > Network > Network Setup > Wireless Setup, and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
Ensure that the TV is not muted and the volume is turned up. Check if external speakers are properly connected. If the issue persists, try performing a power reset by unplugging the TV for a few minutes and then plugging it back in.
To update the software, go to Settings > Product Support > Software Update. If a new update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to install it. Ensure your TV is connected to the internet.
Check if the Sleep Timer or Idle TV Standby settings are enabled under Settings > Eco. Disable these settings if they are not needed. If the issue continues, try updating the TV's software.
To perform a factory reset, press the Home button, navigate to Settings > System Settings > General Setup > Factory Settings, and confirm your selection. This will erase all custom settings.
The Sony KDL-46EX720 does not support Bluetooth connectivity directly. You may use a Bluetooth transmitter connected to the audio output for wireless audio devices.
Press the Home button, go to Settings > Picture & Display > Picture Adjustments. From there, you can adjust settings like brightness, contrast, and color.
Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the screen. Avoid using any liquids or chemical cleaners. If necessary, slightly dampen the cloth with water.
Connect external devices using HDMI, Component, or Composite inputs located on the back of the TV. Switch to the corresponding input using the Input button on your remote.
Ensure that the source device is outputting a high-definition signal. Check the HDMI or AV cables for secure connections. Adjust the picture settings under Settings > Picture & Display.
