To reset the Sony CDX-555RF to factory settings, first turn off the unit. Then, press and hold the reset button located on the front panel using a pointed object for a few seconds until the display resets.
Ensure the CD is not scratched or dirty. Clean the CD before inserting it. If the problem persists, check the lens for dirt and clean it with a lens cleaning disc.
