To adjust the temperature, locate the thermostat control dial inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to increase it. It's recommended to set the temperature to 3-5°C for optimal performance.
First, ensure the refrigerator is plugged in and the thermostat is set correctly. Check for any obstructions in the vents and ensure the door seals are clean and intact. If the issue persists, consider defrosting the freezer or consulting a professional technician.
Manual defrosting is recommended when the frost buildup reaches about 1/4-inch thickness. This typically occurs every 6 months, but frequency may vary based on usage.
To clean the interior, remove all food items, shelves, and drawers. Use a solution of mild detergent and warm water to wipe down all surfaces. Rinse with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before replacing the shelves and food.
Noises can result from uneven placement or items vibrating against each other. Ensure the fridge is level and not touching any walls. Check if any loose items inside may cause noise. If the noise persists, inspect the compressor or fans for issues.
Ensure the refrigerator is placed away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Keep the door closed as much as possible and ensure the seals are tight. Regularly defrost if required and maintain an optimal temperature setting.
Unplug the refrigerator and locate the light bulb cover inside. Remove the cover by unscrewing or unclipping it, then replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Check if the drain hole or drip pan at the back is clogged and clean it if necessary. Ensure the door seals are intact and not allowing warm air inside, which can cause condensation. Adjust the temperature settings if needed.
Close the door on a piece of paper; if you can pull it out easily, the seal may need replacing. Clean the seals regularly with warm soapy water to remove debris and ensure a tight fit.
Remove all contents and thoroughly clean the interior with a solution of baking soda and water. Place an open box of baking soda or a bowl of activated charcoal inside to absorb odors. Ensure any stored food is properly sealed.
