To start the Poulan Pro XT627ES, ensure the fuel valve is open, the choke is set to the start position, and the ignition switch is on. Then, pull the starter rope or use the electric start button if equipped.
Check the fuel level and ensure fresh gasoline is used. Verify that the spark plug is clean and properly connected. Also, make sure the choke and throttle are set correctly.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 25 hours of operation or at the start of each snow season.
Use clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol.
Regularly inspect the auger and impeller for wear and damage. Lubricate bearings and replace any damaged parts to ensure optimal performance.
Check for clogs in the chute and ensure the auger and impeller are rotating freely. Examine the drive belt for wear and replace if necessary.
Drain the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer to prevent fuel degradation. Clean the snow thrower thoroughly and store it in a dry, sheltered area.
Inspect the auger, impeller, and wheels for damage or imbalance. Tighten any loose bolts and ensure all components are securely attached.
To adjust the skid shoes, loosen the bolts and slide the shoes to the desired height. Ensure both sides are even before tightening the bolts.
Perform a general inspection before each use, change the oil every 25 hours of operation, and inspect belts, cables, and fasteners regularly. Clean and lubricate moving parts as needed.
