Poulan Pro BB18542LT Operator's Manual

To start the Poulan Pro BB18542LT Tractor, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the PTO lever is disengaged, and turn the ignition key clockwise to the 'start' position until the engine starts.
The Poulan Pro BB18542LT Tractor is designed to run on unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 50 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first.
If the engine does not start, check the fuel level, ensure the battery is charged, verify the spark plug is clean and functioning, and make sure the safety features are properly engaged.
Regularly clean the mower deck to prevent grass buildup, check for damaged blades, and ensure the belt is tensioned correctly.
To replace the spark plug, disconnect the spark plug wire, remove the old spark plug with a wrench, and install a new one with the correct gap setting. Reconnect the wire securely.
If the tractor is leaving uncut grass, check for dull blades, uneven tire pressure, or obstructions in the mower deck. Adjust the cutting height as needed.
Adjust the cutting height by using the lever located on the side of the tractor to raise or lower the mower deck to the desired position.
If the battery won't charge, check the connections for corrosion, ensure the charger is functioning, and consider replacing the battery if it no longer holds a charge.
To winterize the tractor, clean the exterior, change the oil, add fuel stabilizer, remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place, and cover the tractor to protect it from the elements.
