Regular maintenance includes checking the oil level, cleaning the air filter, inspecting the spark plug, and sharpening the blades. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions and maintenance intervals.
Ensure the battery is charged, the fuel tank is full, and the spark plug is in good condition. Check the safety switches and ensure the PTO is disengaged.
Check the drive belts for wear or damage, ensure the PTO switch is functioning correctly, and inspect the deck engagement cable for proper tension.
Refer to the tire sidewall for specific pressure recommendations, but generally, front tires are inflated to 14 PSI and rear tires to 10 PSI.
Ensure the tractor is on a flat surface, remove the ignition key, and disconnect the spark plug wire. Use a wrench to remove the blade bolt, replace the blade, and tighten the bolt securely.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced or damaged blades, loose hardware, or debris caught in the mower deck. Inspect these areas and correct any issues.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 50 hours or at least once per season. Use the recommended oil type as specified in the manual.
Clean the tractor, change the oil, add fuel stabilizer, remove the battery, and store it in a dry location. Cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
Use the lever located near the driver's seat to raise or lower the mowing deck to the desired cutting height. Ensure the deck is level for an even cut.
Check the drive belt for wear or damage, ensure the transmission is filled with the correct fluid, and inspect the linkage for proper adjustment.
