To start the Poulan Pro Wheeled Weedtrimmer, ensure the trimmer is on a flat surface, press the primer bulb several times, set the choke lever to the start position, and pull the starter rope until the engine starts. Once the engine is running, move the choke lever to the run position.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87 and mix it with high-quality 2-cycle oil at a ratio of 40:1 for optimal performance of the Poulan Pro Wheeled Weedtrimmer.
To replace the cutting line, turn off the trimmer and disconnect the spark plug. Remove the spool cover, replace the old line with a new one according to the designated direction, and reassemble the cover securely.
If the engine won't start, check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected and clean, inspect the air filter for blockages, and verify the choke lever is in the correct position.
Regularly clean the trimmer after use, check and replace the air filter as needed, inspect the spark plug, and ensure the cutting line is replaced when worn. Store the trimmer in a dry place and perform annual maintenance checks.
Frequent line breakage can be due to using an incorrect line size, hitting hard surfaces, or operating at too high RPMs. Ensure you are using the recommended line size and avoid contact with hard objects.
To adjust the handle, locate the adjustment knob on the handle assembly, loosen it to reposition the handle to the desired height, and then tighten the knob securely to lock the handle in place.
Ensure the trimmer is turned off and cooled down. Use a brush to remove debris from the cutting head and body, wipe down with a damp cloth, and clean the air filter if necessary. Avoid using water directly on the engine.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an imbalanced cutting head, damaged parts, or loose components. Inspect the cutting head for wear, ensure all screws are tight, and replace any damaged parts.
Wear appropriate safety gear, including goggles and gloves, avoid loose clothing, keep bystanders at a safe distance, and never operate the trimmer indoors or in poorly ventilated areas.
