To start the Poulan Pro PRLM21i Mower, ensure the battery is fully charged and properly installed. Press and hold the safety button on the handle, then pull the start lever towards you to engage the motor.
If the mower does not start, check the battery charge and connections. Ensure the safety button is being pressed before engaging the start lever. Inspect for any obstructions in the blade area and ensure the mower deck is clear.
It is recommended to charge the battery after each use. Avoid letting the battery completely discharge to prolong its lifespan. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Regularly inspect the mower blades for sharpness and damage. Sharpen the blades at least once a season or after every 25 hours of use. Replace blades if they are bent or deeply nicked.
Ensure the mower is turned off and the battery is removed. Use a brush or cloth to remove grass clippings and debris from the mower deck and blades. Avoid using water directly on the electric components.
Clean the mower thoroughly, remove the battery, and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the mower to protect it from dust and debris. Periodically check the battery charge during long storage periods.
Ensure the blades are sharp and clean. Adjust the cutting height according to the grass type and condition. Mow in dry conditions and avoid cutting wet grass to prevent clogging and uneven cuts.
Check for any obstructions in the blades or under the deck. Ensure the battery is still charged and correctly connected. Allow the motor to cool down if it has overheated.
It is not recommended to use the mower in wet conditions as this can cause clogging and may damage the motor. Wait for the grass to dry before mowing for optimal performance and safety.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on the mower. Move the lever to the desired position, ensuring all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
