To start your Poulan Pro PR8527ESB Snow Blower, ensure the fuel tank is filled, the key is inserted, and the choke is set to "full." Then, press the primer bulb a few times and pull the start handle firmly.
Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content.
It's recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then once every 25 hours or at the start of each snow season.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is functioning, and verify that the choke and throttle settings are correct. Additionally, inspect the battery if using electric start.
Regularly inspect and remove any debris or buildup. Ensure the shear pins are intact and lubricate the auger and impeller shafts annually.
Clean the snow blower thoroughly, drain the fuel or add a fuel stabilizer, change the oil, and store it in a dry place. Cover it to protect against dust and moisture.
Loosen the skid shoe bolts, adjust the shoes to the desired height ensuring even clearance, and then tighten the bolts securely.
Inspect for any debris caught in the auger or impeller, check for loose parts, and ensure that the impeller and auger are not damaged or unbalanced.
Ensure the chute and deflector are clean and clear, check the engine speed, and make sure the auger and impeller are functioning properly without blockages.
Regularly check the drive belt for wear and tension, lubricate the drive components as per the manual, and inspect the friction wheel for wear.
