To start the mower, ensure the fuel tank is filled, the oil level is adequate, and the spark plug is connected. Then, pull the starter cord firmly while holding the handlebar lever down.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is clean and properly connected, and verify that the air filter is not clogged. If problems persist, consult the user manual or a professional technician.
The oil should be changed after the first 5 hours of use and then every 25 hours of operation or at the start of each mowing season.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content.
Regularly inspect and sharpen the blades at least once per mowing season or as needed. Remove the spark plug before performing any maintenance on the blades for safety.
Ensure the blades are sharp and balanced, adjust the cutting height according to the grass type, and mow at a steady pace.
Check if the blades are balanced and securely attached. Inspect for any debris lodged in the mower deck or bent blade shafts.
After each use, remove grass clippings and debris from the mower deck with a brush or compressed air. Avoid using water to prevent rust.
Regular maintenance includes checking and changing the oil, cleaning or replacing the air filter, inspecting the spark plug, and sharpening the blades.
Ensure the mower deck is level, the blades are sharp, and the tire pressure is equal. Also, check for any obstructions under the deck.
