To start the Poulan Pro PR 210 Snow Thrower, ensure the fuel tank is filled, set the choke to full, push the primer bulb three times, and pull the starter handle briskly.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum 87 octane rating for the Poulan Pro PR 210 Snow Thrower. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content.
Regularly inspect the auger for damage and remove any debris. Lubricate the auger shaft and bearings periodically to ensure smooth operation.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is clean and properly connected, and verify that the choke and throttle settings are correct. If problems persist, consult the user manual or a professional.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, then annually or after every 25 hours of operation, whichever comes first. Use SAE 5W-30 oil for best results.
It is not recommended to use the snow thrower on steep inclines due to safety concerns and the risk of losing control. Use on level surfaces for optimal safety and performance.
Use the chute handle located near the operator controls to rotate the chute in the desired direction. Ensure the snow is being discharged safely and away from bystanders.
Drain the fuel tank, change the oil, clean the machine thoroughly, and check for any loose bolts or damaged parts. Store in a dry, covered area to prevent rust.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, use a spark plug wrench to remove the old spark plug, and install a new one, ensuring it is properly gapped and tightened. Reconnect the spark plug wire afterwards.
Turn off the engine and use a clean-out tool or stick to remove any packed snow from the chute. Do not use your hands to clear the chute to avoid injury.
