First, check the battery to ensure it is charged. Inspect the spark plug for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Confirm that the fuel tank has fresh gasoline. Additionally, check the air filter for clogs and clean or replace it if needed.
Ensure the tire pressure is equal on all wheels. Check the mower deck to make sure it is level. Examine the blades for damage or dullness and sharpen or replace them if necessary.
To replace the drive belt, first disconnect the spark plug for safety. Remove the mower deck and locate the belt path. Release the belt tension and remove the old belt. Install the new belt following the belt path diagram and reassemble the mower deck.
Regular maintenance should be performed every 25 hours of operation or at least once per season. This includes checking and changing the oil, inspecting the air filter, checking tire pressure, and examining belts and blades.
Clean the tractor thoroughly and remove any grass or debris. Change the oil and air filter. Add a fuel stabilizer to the gas tank. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
The cutting height can be adjusted using the lever located on the right side of the tractor. Move the lever to the desired position, ensuring it clicks into place. Refer to the operator's manual for specific height settings.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced or damaged blades. Check the blades for any damage or imbalance and replace if necessary. Also, inspect the pulleys and belts for wear or damage.
Regularly check the battery terminals for corrosion and clean them with a wire brush if needed. Ensure the battery is securely mounted and that the connections are tight. Charge the battery if it shows signs of low power or before long storage periods.
First, check for proper belt tension and adjust if necessary. Inspect the drive belt for wear and replace it if it is damaged. Ensure that the transmission fluid is at the appropriate level and in good condition.
