To change the oil, first, run the engine for a few minutes to warm it up. Turn off the engine and remove the oil fill cap. Place a container under the oil drain valve and open the valve to drain the old oil. Replace the drain valve cap and refill with new oil as per the manufacturer's specifications.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content to prevent engine damage.
If your tractor won't start, check the battery connections for corrosion, ensure the fuel tank has enough gasoline, and inspect the spark plug for wear. Replace any faulty parts and try starting again.
Refer to the owner's manual for exact tire pressure specifications, but generally, the front tires should be inflated to 14 PSI and the rear tires to 10 PSI.
To replace the air filter, remove the filter cover by unscrewing the fastener. Take out the old filter, clean the area, and insert a new filter. Reattach the cover securely.
Check the drive belt for wear or breakage and ensure it is properly tensioned. Inspect the PTO switch and clutch for any faults. Replace or repair as necessary.
Regular maintenance should be performed every 50 hours of operation or at the beginning of each season, including oil changes, air filter replacements, and blade sharpening.
Clean the tractor, change the oil, and remove any debris. Store the tractor in a dry, sheltered area. Disconnect the battery and store it separately in a cool place.
Use the lever located on the right side of the tractor to adjust the cutting height. Move the lever to the desired position to set the height of the mower deck.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced blades, loose components, or damaged drive belts. Inspect these parts and replace or repair as needed to reduce vibration.
