To change the oil, start the engine and let it warm up. Turn off the engine and remove the oil drain plug. Allow the oil to completely drain, replace the drain plug, and fill with new oil. Make sure to use the oil type recommended in the manual.
Refer to the user manual for the recommended oil type. Typically, a high-quality SAE 30 motor oil is suitable for warm climates, while an SAE 5W-30 is better for cold climates.
Ensure the engine is off and remove the spark plug wire. Lift the mower deck to access the blades. Use a wrench to remove the blade bolts and replace the blades. Ensure they are securely fastened before lowering the deck.
Check if the fuel tank is full and the fuel is fresh. Inspect the battery connections and ensure they are clean and tightly connected. If the problem persists, examine the spark plug and replace it if necessary.
Check if the tires are properly inflated and ensure the mower deck is level. Also, inspect the blades for damage or dullness and sharpen or replace them as needed.
Check the drive belt for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Ensure the belt is properly tensioned and inspect the transmission fluid level, adding fluid if it’s low.
It's recommended to check the oil level, air filter, and tire pressure before each use. Perform a thorough maintenance check including oil change, spark plug replacement, and blade sharpening every 50 hours of operation or annually.
Remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. Clean it using a mild detergent and water, then allow it to dry completely before reinstalling. If it's a paper filter, tap it gently to remove debris, or replace it if it's too dirty.
Refer to the user manual for the recommended tire pressure. Generally, the front tires should be inflated to 14 psi and the rear tires to 10 psi.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, remove the battery, and store it in a cool, dry place. Add fuel stabilizer to the gas tank and run the engine for a few minutes. Change the oil and cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
