Regularly inspect the cutting blades for damage and sharpness. Sharpen the blades at least once per season or after hitting a hard object. Replace blades if they show signs of excessive wear or damage.
Check the battery for charge and terminal connections, ensure the fuel tank has fresh gasoline, verify the spark plug is functioning, and make sure the air filter is clean.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 50 hours or at the start of each mowing season. Use SAE 30 motor oil for best performance.
The recommended tire pressure for the front and rear tires is 14 PSI. Always check tire pressure before each use for optimal performance.
Ensure the blades are sharp, the underside of the mower deck is clean, and the grass is dry when mowing. Also, adjust the cutting height according to the grass length and condition.
Stop the engine immediately and allow it to cool. Check for blocked air intake or cooling fins, ensure the engine oil level is correct, and verify there’s no debris blocking the engine.
Locate the deck height adjustment lever on the right side of the tractor. Move the lever to the desired position to adjust the cutting height between 1.5 and 4 inches.
Regularly check the battery terminals for corrosion and clean them as needed. Ensure the battery is charged, especially before storing the tractor for long periods.
Check if the blades are balanced and sharp, ensure the tire pressures are equal, and verify the deck is level. Adjust the deck if necessary and remove any debris caught in the blades.
