To change the oil, run the engine for a few minutes to warm it up, which helps the oil drain out smoothly. Turn off the engine and remove the oil drain plug. Allow the oil to drain completely, replace the drain plug, and refill with the recommended oil type and quantity.
Use clean, fresh unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline containing more than 10% ethanol, as this can cause engine damage.
It is recommended to check the air filter every 25 hours of operation. Clean or replace the air filter whenever it appears dirty to ensure optimal engine performance.
The recommended tire pressure is 14 PSI for the front tires and 10 PSI for the rear tires. Regularly check the tire pressure to ensure proper traction and performance.
First, check the battery terminals for corrosion and clean them if necessary. Ensure the battery cables are tightly connected. If the problem persists, test the battery with a multimeter to determine if it needs to be replaced.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced or damaged blades. Inspect the blades for damage and replace if necessary. Ensure all bolts and nuts are tightened and that the blades are properly balanced.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on the tractor. Move the lever to the desired position to raise or lower the cutting deck. Ensure both sides of the deck are adjusted evenly for a uniform cut.
Check the fuel level, battery charge, and ensure the spark plug is functioning. Make sure the PTO switch is off and the brake pedal is fully depressed. If it still won't start, consult the user manual or contact a professional technician.
After each use, remove grass clippings and debris from the mower deck using a brush or a hose. To prevent rust and maintain performance, ensure the deck is completely dry before storing the tractor.
Before storing, clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, and remove the battery for storage in a cool, dry place. Add fuel stabilizer to the gas tank and inflate the tires to the recommended pressure. Store the tractor in a dry, sheltered location.
