Poulan Pro PD25PH48STB Operator's Manual

To change the oil, first run the engine for a few minutes to warm it up. Turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug. Place an oil pan under the drain plug, remove the plug, and allow the oil to drain completely. Replace the drain plug and fill the engine with new oil as specified in the user manual.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid gasoline with more than 10% ethanol, as it may cause damage to the engine.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected, and verify that the battery is charged. Also, inspect the air filter for clogs and make sure the choke is set properly.
Sharpen the mower blades after every 25 hours of use or whenever you notice that the grass is not being cut cleanly.
Locate the cutting height adjustment lever, usually found on the right side of the tractor. Adjust the lever to the desired height, ensuring it clicks into position securely.
First, stop the tractor and allow the engine to cool. Check the coolant level and add if necessary. Ensure there is no debris blocking the air intake or cooling fins.
Open the air filter cover, remove the old filter, and clean the surrounding area. Install a new air filter, ensuring it is seated properly, then replace the cover securely.
Excessive vibration may be caused by unbalanced or damaged blades, loose engine mounts, or debris trapped in the cutting deck. Inspect and address these areas accordingly.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, and add a fuel stabilizer to the tank. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
The recommended tire pressure is typically listed in the user manual or on the tire sidewall. Generally, it should be between 10-14 PSI for the front tires and 8-12 PSI for the rear tires.
