To change the oil, ensure the engine is warm, then place a pan under the drain plug. Remove the oil drain plug and let the oil drain completely. Replace the plug, fill with new oil, and check the level with the dipstick.
Check the battery connections for corrosion, ensure the fuel tank has fresh gasoline, and inspect the spark plug for wear. If the problem persists, consult the manual for further troubleshooting steps.
Locate the cutting height adjustment lever on the side of the tractor. Move the lever to the desired cutting height position, ensuring it locks into place.
Sharpen the blades at least once per mowing season or more frequently if you notice the grass is not cutting cleanly. Always remove the blades carefully and follow safety precautions.
Refer to the owner's manual for the recommended tire pressure, which is generally around 10-14 PSI for the front tires and 8-10 PSI for the rear tires.
Disconnect the spark plug, remove the mower deck, and release the tension on the belt. Remove the old belt and install the new one, ensuring it is seated properly on all pulleys. Reattach the deck and spark plug.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using ethanol blends higher than 10% as they can damage the engine.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and clean it with compressed air or soapy water if it's a foam filter. Ensure it's completely dry before reinstalling.
Excessive vibration could be due to unbalanced or damaged blades, loose parts, or worn-out bearings. Inspect all components and tighten or replace as necessary.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, stabilize the fuel, and remove the battery. Store the tractor in a dry place and cover it to protect against dust and moisture.
