To start the Poulan Pro PBV200 LE Blower, ensure the blower is on a flat surface. Set the choke lever to the "Start" position, prime the carburetor by pressing the primer bulb 5-6 times, and pull the starter rope until the engine starts. Once started, move the choke to the "Run" position.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the air filter after every 5 hours of use, checking and replacing the spark plug annually, and inspecting the fuel filter every 25 hours of use. Ensure the blower is stored in a dry place and the fuel tank is emptied if stored for a prolonged period.
If the blower does not start, check the fuel level and ensure fresh fuel is used. Verify that the spark plug is clean and properly connected. Inspect the air filter for clogs and clean or replace it if necessary. Ensure the choke is set correctly and try starting again.
Loss of power can occur due to a dirty air filter, clogged fuel filter, or a worn spark plug. Clean or replace the air filter, inspect and clean the fuel filter, and replace the spark plug if it's worn out. Also, ensure the fuel mixture is correct.
To convert the blower into a vacuum, remove the blower tube and attach the vacuum bag to the blower's outlet. Attach the vacuum tube to the blower's inlet. Ensure all attachments are secure before operation.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87 and mix it with a high-quality 2-cycle synthetic oil at a ratio of 40:1. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol.
Ensure that all screws and attachments are securely tightened. Hold the blower with a firm, balanced grip, using the vibration-reducing handle. Regular maintenance, like keeping the fan blades clean, can also help reduce vibration.
Wear safety goggles and hearing protection. Avoid loose clothing that can get caught in the blower. Do not use the blower in enclosed spaces, and be aware of your surroundings to avoid debris being blown towards people or pets.
To clean the air filter, remove the cover and take out the filter. Wash it with warm, soapy water, rinse, and let it dry completely. Reinstall the filter and cover before using the blower again. Replace the filter if it's damaged or excessively dirty.
Empty the fuel tank and run the engine until it stops to clear the carburetor of fuel. Clean the blower thoroughly, including the air filter and exterior. Store it in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and corrosive substances.
