To change the oil, run the engine for a few minutes to warm it up. Place a drain pan under the engine, remove the oil drain plug, and let the oil drain completely. Replace the drain plug, and refill the engine with the recommended oil type and quantity.
Check the battery connections to ensure they are tight and clean. Inspect the spark plug for wear and replace if necessary. Ensure the fuel tank has fresh gasoline and check the fuel filter for blockages.
The air filter should be checked every 25 hours of operation and replaced if it appears dirty or damaged. Generally, replacing it once every season is advisable for optimal performance.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tires is 14 PSI, and for the rear tires, it is 10 PSI. Always check the tire pressure before each use to ensure safe operation.
To adjust the cutting deck height, locate the lever on the right side of the driver's seat. Move the lever to the desired position, ensuring it locks into place securely.
At the end of the mowing season, clean the mower deck, change the oil, check and replace the air filter, spark plug, and fuel filter if necessary, and store the tractor in a dry place.
Uneven cutting can be caused by a misaligned deck or dull blades. Check the deck level and adjust if necessary. Sharpen or replace the blades to ensure a clean cut.
Stop the engine and allow it to cool. Check for debris blocking the air intake or cooling fins. Ensure that the engine oil and coolant levels are adequate.
First, disconnect the spark plug for safety. Remove the mower deck and locate the broken belt. Install the new belt following the routing diagram found in the manual, then reattach the deck.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced or damaged blades, loose engine mounts, or worn belts. Inspect these components and repair or replace them as needed.
