To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on the tractor's right side. Move the lever to your desired height setting, ensuring the deck locks into position.
Check the battery connections for corrosion or loose connections. Ensure there is fresh fuel in the tank, and the fuel valve is open. Also, inspect the spark plug for wear or damage and replace if necessary.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 50 hours or at the beginning of each season, whichever comes first. Use SAE 30 oil for optimal performance.
Ensure that the tire pressure is equal on both sides and check that the mower deck is level. Inspect the blades for sharpness and damage, and replace them if necessary.
Clean the mower deck and remove grass clippings. Change the oil and air filter, and inspect the spark plug. Drain the fuel or add a fuel stabilizer, and store the tractor in a dry, sheltered area.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced or damaged mower blades. Check for bent blades and ensure they are properly balanced. Tighten any loose bolts or components.
First, disconnect the spark plug wire for safety. Remove the mower deck and locate the drive belt. Carefully remove the old belt and install the new one, following the belt routing diagram in the manual. Reattach the deck and reconnect the spark plug wire.
Check the PTO switch and ensure it is in the "On" position. Verify that the drive belt is intact and properly tensioned. Inspect the mower deck for obstructions and ensure that the engine is running at full throttle.
Regular maintenance such as changing the oil, air filter, and spark plug can improve fuel efficiency. Operating at the correct throttle setting and maintaining proper tire pressure also contribute to better fuel economy.
Clean the tractor thoroughly and perform routine maintenance like oil change and air filter replacement. Add a fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank or drain it completely. Store the tractor in a dry, covered area and disconnect the battery to prevent discharge.
