Poulan Pro P624ES Operator's Manual

To start the Poulan Pro P624ES, ensure the fuel valve is open, set the choke to full, and turn the ignition key to the start position. Pull the starter handle or press the electric start button if equipped.
Check for any blockages in the chute or auger. Ensure the auger is not worn out and replace if necessary. Adjust the skid shoes to raise the auger housing for better performance.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 25 hours or once per season, whichever comes first. Always use the recommended oil type.
Clean the snow thrower thoroughly, drain the fuel system, and change the oil. Store it in a dry place and cover it to protect it from dust and moisture.
This could be due to stale fuel or a clogged carburetor. Drain the old fuel, clean the carburetor, and fill with fresh fuel. Check the spark plug for fouling and replace if necessary.
Loosen the nuts on the skid shoes and adjust them to the desired height. Ensure both sides are even to prevent uneven wear and tighten the nuts securely.
Use clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol content.
Clear snow promptly to avoid slush and ice buildup. Spray the chute with a non-stick spray before use to help prevent snow from sticking.
Check the oil level, inspect the auger and impeller for damage, ensure all nuts and bolts are tight, and verify that the controls are functioning properly.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, use a spark plug wrench to remove the old spark plug, and install the new plug by hand to avoid cross-threading. Tighten it with the wrench and reattach the wire.
