Ensure the tractor is on a flat surface. Sit on the seat, engage the parking brake, and ensure the gear shift is in the neutral position. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the right to start the engine.
Check the fuel level and refuel if necessary. Ensure the battery is charged and the spark plug is clean. Verify that the parking brake is engaged and the gear shift is in neutral.
It is recommended to change the oil after every 50 hours of usage or at the beginning of each mowing season.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, remove any debris, and check for any needed repairs. Drain the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer. Store the tractor in a dry, covered area. Disconnect the battery to prevent discharge.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using E85 fuel or gasoline with more than 10% ethanol.
Check that the tire pressure is equal on all tires. Ensure the mower deck is level and the blades are sharp and undamaged. Adjust the cutting height if necessary.
Park the tractor on a flat surface and disconnect the spark plug wire. Use a wrench to remove the blade bolts and replace the old blades with new ones. Secure the blades with the bolts and reconnect the spark plug wire.
Check for debris lodged in the mower deck. Inspect the blades for damage or imbalance. Tighten any loose parts and ensure the engine mounting bolts are secure.
Locate the drive belt and check for proper tension. If adjustment is needed, loosen the tension pulley bolt, adjust the tension, and retighten the bolt. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions.
Ensure the tires are properly inflated and check the traction on the terrain. Use a lower gear for more power and avoid sharp turns. Balance the weight if additional attachments are used.
