To change the oil, park the tractor on a level surface and turn off the engine. Remove the oil drain plug and let the old oil drain into a suitable container. Replace the drain plug, then refill the engine with the recommended oil type and amount. Be sure to dispose of the used oil properly.

If the tractor won't start, check the battery first to ensure it's charged. Verify that the spark plug is clean and functional. Make sure there's enough fuel and that the fuel valve is open. Ensure the PTO is disengaged and the brake is applied before attempting to start again.

To adjust the mower deck, first ensure the tractor is on a level surface. Adjust the lift linkages on both sides of the deck to the desired cutting height, ensuring both sides are level. Check and adjust the front-to-back pitch of the deck if necessary.
