Poulan Pro 2150PR Operator's Manual V2

To start the Poulan Pro 2150PR chainsaw, ensure the chain brake is engaged, switch on the ignition, press the primer bulb 6 times, set the choke to full, pull the starter rope until the engine fires, then move the choke to half and pull the rope again until the engine starts.
A chain coming off can be due to improper tension. Ensure the chain is properly tensioned by adjusting the tensioner screw. The chain should be snug against the bar but still move freely.
Use a gasoline and 2-cycle oil mix at a ratio of 40:1. It's recommended to use fresh unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87.
To sharpen the chain, use a round file and a file guide. File each cutter at a consistent angle, usually 30 degrees, and ensure all cutters are filed evenly.
Check for fuel, ensure the spark plug is clean and functioning, verify that the air filter is clean, and confirm that the choke is in the correct position.
Regularly inspect the air filter and clean it by removing dust and debris. If it's too dirty, replace it with a new one to maintain optimal performance.
Power loss can be caused by a dull chain, a clogged air filter, or improper fuel mixture. Sharpen the chain, clean or replace the air filter, and ensure the correct fuel mix is used.
Ensure the chain is lubricated before each use. Refill the chain oil reservoir regularly and check that the oiler is functioning properly during operation.
After use, clean the chainsaw thoroughly, drain the fuel, remove the chain and guide bar, and store them in a dry place. Apply a light coat of oil to prevent rust.
To replace the spark plug, remove the top cover, disconnect the spark plug wire, use a spark plug wrench to remove the old plug, and install a new one with the correct gap setting.
