To start recording, slide the REC switch up. The Record/Play indicator light will turn red, indicating recording is in progress.
To pause a recording, press the STOP button. To resume, slide the REC switch up again. The recorder will continue recording in the same file.
First, check if the batteries are inserted correctly and if they are fully charged. If the issue persists, try replacing the batteries with new ones.
To delete a file, first select the file using the FOLDER button. Then, press the ERASE button and hold it until "ERASE" is displayed. Press ERASE again to confirm.
The VN-900 does not have direct USB connectivity. You will need an external device to transfer recordings, such as a 3.5mm audio cable connected to the computer's microphone input.
The VN-900 does not have adjustable recording quality settings. It records in a standard quality suitable for vocal notes and reminders.
The VN-900 can record up to 22 hours depending on the recording mode and memory availability.
To replace the batteries, slide open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device. Remove the old batteries and insert two new AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring the correct polarity.
If the memory is full, you need to delete some files to create space for new recordings. Use the ERASE function to delete unnecessary files.
To improve battery life, turn off the recorder when not in use, use high-quality alkaline batteries, and avoid using features like fast forward or rewind excessively.
