To transfer photos, connect your Olympus TG-835 to your computer using a USB cable. The camera will appear as a removable drive on your computer. Open the drive, then copy and paste the desired photos to your computer.
If your camera won't turn on, first check if the battery is charged. If the battery is charged and the camera still won't turn on, try removing and reinserting the battery. If the problem persists, contact Olympus support.
To reset the camera to factory settings, press the menu button, navigate to the 'Setup Menu', and select 'Reset'. Confirm your selection to restore factory defaults.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the lens. If necessary, use a blower brush to remove any dust or particles before wiping. Avoid using harsh chemicals or rough materials that could scratch the lens.
To enable underwater mode, press the mode button and select the 'Scene' mode. From the scene options, choose 'Underwater' to optimize settings for underwater photography.
Blurry photos can result from camera shake or incorrect focus settings. Ensure the camera is steady when taking a photo and check that the autofocus is properly locking onto your subject. Using a tripod can also help reduce blurriness.
The Olympus TG-835 is compatible with SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards. For optimal performance, consider using a high-speed card with a minimum class rating of 6 or higher.
To update the firmware, download the latest firmware version from the Olympus website. Connect your camera to your computer, and use the Olympus digital camera updater software to install the update.
If your camera is not focusing properly, ensure that the lens is clean and free from obstructions. You can also try resetting the camera settings to default and checking the focus settings in the menu. If the issue persists, seek professional service.
To extend battery life, reduce the use of the LCD screen by using the viewfinder when possible, switch off the camera when not in use, and avoid using the flash unless necessary. Also, disable any unnecessary features like Wi-Fi when not needed.
