To insert the battery, open the battery compartment by sliding the latch, align the battery contacts with the camera's contacts, and gently push the battery in until it clicks into place. Ensure the compartment cover is securely closed before turning on the camera.
First, check if the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted. If the camera still doesn't turn on, try removing the battery and memory card, wait a few seconds, and reinsert them. If the issue persists, it may require service.
To transfer photos, connect the camera to the computer using a USB cable. Once connected, the camera should be recognized as a removable drive. You can then copy the images from the DCIM folder to your computer.
Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth to gently wipe the lens. For more stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with a small amount of lens cleaning solution. Avoid using paper-based products or rough fabrics.
To reset the camera, go to the Menu, select 'Setup Menu', and choose 'Reset' or 'Reset/Format'. Confirm the reset when prompted. This will restore the camera to its original factory settings.
Battery drainage may be due to extreme temperatures, a battery that is past its lifespan, or leaving the camera on while not in use. Try using a new battery and avoid using the camera in very hot or cold environments.
To use underwater mode, turn on the camera, press the 'Mode' button, and select 'Underwater'. This mode adjusts the white balance and exposure settings for optimal underwater shooting.
The Olympus TG-630 is compatible with SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards. It's recommended to use a high-speed card for better performance during video recording.
Ensure you are using the highest resolution setting available, keep the lens clean, use appropriate scene modes for different environments, and avoid digital zoom. Using a tripod can also help reduce camera shake.
If a 'Card Error' appears, try turning the camera off and on again. Remove and reinsert the memory card. If the error persists, format the card using the camera (ensure all data is backed up first), or try using a different card.
