To transfer photos, connect the camera to your computer using a USB cable. Ensure the camera is turned on, and your computer should recognize it as a removable drive. You can then copy photos using your file manager.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth, preferably a microfiber lens cleaning cloth. Gently wipe the lens in a circular motion. Avoid using rough materials or excessive force.
To prolong battery life, turn off the camera when not in use, reduce the LCD brightness, and disable features like Wi-Fi when not needed. Ensure the battery is fully charged before long storage.
Blurry photos can result from camera shake or incorrect focus. Use a tripod or a stable surface to minimize shake, and ensure the autofocus is correctly set. Check the settings for any unwanted effects.
First, check if the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. If the issue persists, try using a different battery. Inspect the battery contacts for dirt and clean them if necessary.
To reset the camera, go to the menu, select the 'Setup' option, and choose 'Reset'. Confirm the reset when prompted. This will restore the camera to its original settings.
The Olympus TG-620 is waterproof up to a depth of 5 meters (approximately 16 feet). Always ensure that all covers and seals are securely closed before submerging the camera.
To update the firmware, download the latest version from the Olympus website, and follow the instructions provided. Connect the camera to your computer, and use the provided software to apply the update.
Set the date and time in the camera's setup menu. Ensure the camera's clock is accurate, especially after changing batteries or traveling to different time zones.
For outdoor use, consider accessories such as a floating wrist strap, a protective case, and a lens cleaning kit. These will help protect and maintain your camera in various environments.
