To transfer videos, connect the camera to your computer using the supplied USB cable. Ensure the camera is turned on, and select "USB" mode when prompted. Your computer should recognize the camera as a removable drive, allowing you to drag and drop the video files to your desired location.
First, download the latest firmware from the Olympus website. Connect your camera to your computer via USB and run the Olympus firmware update software. Follow on-screen instructions to complete the update. Ensure the camera is fully charged before starting the update process.
To reset the camera, turn it on and navigate to the settings menu. Select 'Reset' and confirm your choice. This will restore the camera to its factory default settings, erasing any custom configurations.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with lens cleaning solution. Gently wipe the lens in a circular motion. Avoid using paper towels or rough materials that could scratch the lens.
Frequent use of Wi-Fi, high-resolution video recording, and extreme temperatures can drain the battery quickly. To extend battery life, disable Wi-Fi when not needed, reduce screen brightness, and avoid recording in very cold environments. Always use a fully charged battery for optimal performance.
Ensure the camera's waterproof seals are intact and clean. Switch the mode to 'Underwater' in the shooting settings to optimize color balance. Use the underwater case for added protection if diving to depths beyond the camera's built-in waterproof limit.
First, ensure the battery is charged and correctly inserted. Check if the battery compartment is clean and free from moisture. If the camera still doesn’t turn on, try using a different compatible battery to rule out battery failure.
The TG-Tracker does not support external microphones directly. However, you can use a separate audio recorder and sync the audio in post-production for better sound quality.
Ensure the USB cable is properly connected and try a different USB port. Check if the camera is in the correct 'USB' mode. If the issue persists, try reinstalling the camera drivers or using a different computer to isolate the problem.
Turn on the camera and go to the settings menu. Enable GPS by selecting 'GPS Settings' and turning the feature on. Be aware that enabling GPS may increase battery consumption.
