Olympus FE-170 Quick Start Guide

Connect the camera to your computer using the supplied USB cable. Turn on the camera, and your computer should recognize it as a removable drive. You can then copy the photos to your computer.
The Olympus FE-170 uses two AA alkaline batteries. For longer battery life, you can use AA NiMH rechargeable batteries.
To change the image resolution, press the MENU button, navigate to the 'Image Quality' option using the arrow keys, and select your desired resolution.
Blurry images can be caused by camera shake or incorrect focus. Ensure the camera is steady when taking photos, and check the focus settings in the menu.
Press the 'flower' button on the camera to activate macro mode. This allows you to focus on subjects as close as 5 cm from the lens.
Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. If the issue persists, try using a different set of batteries.
To delete photos, enter playback mode, select the photo you wish to delete, and press the trash can button. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
To reset to factory settings, go to the setup menu, select 'Reset', and confirm your choice. This will restore the original camera settings.
The Olympus FE-170 is compatible with xD-Picture Cards. Make sure to use a card with sufficient storage capacity for your needs.
The Olympus FE-170 does not support firmware updates. Ensure your camera operates properly by following the maintenance guidelines in the user manual.
