Oki MC860 Asia & Oceania Network Guide

Firstly, turn off the printer and allow it to cool down. Open the front cover, carefully remove any jammed paper, and check for obstructions. Ensure all paper paths are clear before closing the cover and turning the printer back on.
To replace the toner cartridge, open the top cover and lift out the empty cartridge. Unpack the new cartridge, shake it gently to distribute the toner, and insert it into the printer until it clicks into place. Close the top cover and the printer is ready to use.
Ensure that the toner cartridges have sufficient toner and are properly installed. Check the print density settings and adjust if necessary. If the problem persists, clean the LED heads and check for any obstructions in the paper path.
Access the printer's menu and navigate to the network settings. Select 'Wireless LAN' and then 'Setup Wizard'. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your network and enter the password. Save the settings to connect the printer to the network.
Regularly check and clean the paper path, replace toner and drum units as needed, and update the printer's firmware. Clean the LED heads and perform periodic calibration to ensure optimal print quality.
Check the toner levels via the printer menu. If levels are low, replace the toner cartridge. Sometimes, removing and shaking the cartridge can redistribute the toner and extend its usage temporarily.
Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly, not exceeding the tray capacity. Check the paper settings in the printer menu match the type and size of paper being used. If issues persist, inspect the paper detection sensors for dust or damage.
Download the latest firmware version from the Oki website. Connect the printer to your computer via USB or network, and run the firmware update utility. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update process.
Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. After a few minutes, plug it back in and turn it on. If the error persists, consult the user manual for specific error codes or contact Oki support for further assistance.
Access the printer settings through the control panel or printer driver on your computer. Navigate to the print settings and select 'Duplex' or 'Double-sided' printing. Save the settings and start your print job.
