Nintendo Pokewalker Operations Manual

To connect your Pokewalker to the Nintendo DS, first ensure that the Nintendo DS game cartridge is inserted and turned on. On the main menu, select 'Connect to Pokewalker' and follow the on-screen instructions to sync the devices.
If your Pokewalker is not counting steps, try resetting the device by removing and reinserting the battery. Ensure it is securely closed and test again by walking around.
To replace the Pokewalker battery, use a small screwdriver to open the back cover. Carefully remove the old battery and insert a new CR2032 battery, making sure the positive side is facing up. Close the cover securely.
Ensure both devices have fresh batteries and are within range. Try restarting both the DS and Pokewalker. If the problem persists, re-sync the Pokewalker via the 'Connect to Pokewalker' option in the game menu.
The Pokewalker is specifically designed to work with Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver versions on the Nintendo DS. It is not compatible with other Pokemon games.
To transfer a Pokemon, access the 'Connect to Pokewalker' option in the game, choose the Pokemon you want to send, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transfer.
The Pokewalker allows you to catch wild Pokemon, find items, and earn 'Watts' while walking. It also displays your step count and lets you transfer items and Pokemon back to your game.
If the display is not working, check if the battery is correctly installed and has charge. If needed, replace the battery with a new CR2032. Ensure the contacts are clean and free of debris.
To reset the Pokewalker, press the small reset button located inside the battery compartment using a pointed object. Be careful not to reset unless necessary, as this will erase all current data.
The Pokewalker is designed to be worn or carried in a pocket to accurately track steps. Keeping it in a bag may lead to less accurate step counting.
