Ensure the parking brake is engaged, the transmission is in neutral, and the PTO is disengaged. Turn the ignition key to the start position until the engine starts, then release.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and SAE 5W-30 for temperatures below 32°F (0°C). Always check the owner’s manual for specific recommendations.
Inspect the air filter every 25 hours of operation. Replace it if it appears dirty or damaged, or as indicated by the maintenance schedule in the manual.
Check the battery charge, ensure fuel is in the tank, inspect the spark plug, and verify all safety interlocks are engaged. If the problem persists, consult the manual or a professional technician.
Disconnect the spark plug wire for safety, lower the deck, remove the blade bolts, and replace the blades. Ensure the blades are installed with the correct orientation.
Maintain the front tires at 14 PSI and the rear tires at 10 PSI. Check the tire pressure regularly to ensure optimal performance.
Use the height adjustment lever located on the right side of the tractor. Move the lever to the desired cutting height position, ensuring it's securely locked in place.
Check for any damaged or unbalanced blades, loose components, or debris caught in the mower deck. Tighten any loose parts and replace or balance the blades as necessary.
Regularly check and change the oil, inspect and replace the air filter, keep the blades sharp, check tire pressure, and lubricate moving parts as per the maintenance schedule in the manual.
Ensure the blades are sharp and properly balanced, check the mower deck for clogs or damage, and verify the grass discharge chute is clear. Adjust the cutting height if necessary.
