Ensure the tractor is on a level surface, engage the parking brake, set the throttle to 'fast', insert the key, and turn it to the 'start' position. Once the engine starts, release the key.
Check the battery connections for corrosion, ensure the fuel is fresh, inspect the spark plug for wear, and verify the safety switches are engaged properly.
It is recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 50 hours of operation or once per season.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and SAE 5W-30 for colder conditions. Always check the manufacturer’s manual for the most accurate recommendation.
Locate the cutting height adjustment lever, usually on the fender or near the seat, and move it to the desired height setting.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced or damaged blade, loose parts, or a worn belt. Inspect these components for signs of wear or damage.
Check if the tire pressure is equal on all tires, ensure the deck is level, and inspect the blades for sharpness and damage.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil, remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place, and cover the tractor to protect it from dust and moisture.
Ensure regular maintenance, such as changing the air filter, keeping the blades sharp, and maintaining proper tire pressure to improve fuel efficiency.
Check the PTO (Power Take-Off) switch, inspect the belt for wear or damage, and ensure the battery is fully charged. If issues persist, consult a professional technician.
