Ensure the parking brake is engaged, the PTO is off, and the transmission is in neutral. Insert the key and turn it to the start position. Release the key once the engine starts.
Check the battery connections and charge the battery if necessary. Ensure there's fuel in the tank, the spark plug is clean, and the air filter is not clogged.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use and then every 50 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first. Use SAE 30 oil for optimal performance.
The recommended tire pressure is 14 psi for the front tires and 10 psi for the rear tires. Always check the tire pressure before use.
Ensure the PTO switch is on. Check the belt for damage or wear, and ensure it is properly tensioned. Inspect the PTO clutch and replace if necessary.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, drain the fuel system or add fuel stabilizer, change the oil, and store in a dry place. Disconnect the battery and charge it periodically.
Ensure the tractor is on a flat surface, and remove the key. Use a block to prevent blade rotation, unscrew the blade bolt, and replace the blade. Tighten the bolt securely.
Check if the blades are dull or damaged. Ensure the cutting deck is level and that tires are properly inflated. Inspect for obstructions in the deck.
Use the lever on the right side of the tractor to adjust the cutting height. Choose the desired level ranging from 1 to 6, with 1 being the lowest setting.
Examine the air filter and replace if dirty. Check the fuel filter, spark plug, and carburetor. Ensure regular maintenance has been performed and use fresh fuel.
