Ensure the tractor is on a flat surface. Insert the key into the ignition, press the brake pedal, and turn the key clockwise to start the engine.
Check that the battery is charged, the fuel tank is full, and the spark plug is clean and properly connected.
Change the oil after every 25 hours of use or at the start of each mowing season, whichever comes first.
Disconnect the spark plug, lift the tractor safely, use a wrench to remove the blade bolts, replace with new blades, and ensure they are securely fastened.
Check if the mower deck is level, ensure blades are sharp, and that the tire pressure is even on all tires.
Clean the deck and undercarriage, change the oil, add a fuel stabilizer, and store in a dry place. Disconnect the battery to prevent drainage.
Use the cutting height lever located on the right side of the operator's seat to raise or lower the deck. Ensure the tractor is on a level surface when adjusting.
Inspect the blades for damage or imbalance, check for loose bolts, and ensure the engine mounting bolts are secure.
Regularly service the engine, keep the air filter clean, ensure tires are properly inflated, and operate at the recommended speed.
Refer to the owner's manual for specific tire pressure recommendations, typically around 10-14 psi for front tires and 8-12 psi for rear tires.
