Ensure the tractor is on a flat surface. Engage the parking brake, set the throttle to the 'fast' position, and turn the key to start the engine.
Check the battery connections, ensure there's fuel, and inspect the spark plugs. If the problem persists, consult the manual or a professional technician.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 50 hours of operation or at least once per season.
Use SAE 30 motor oil for general use. In colder climates, SAE 5W-30 can be used to ensure better performance.
Regularly inspect the blades for sharpness. Sharpen or replace them as needed, ensuring they are balanced to prevent vibration.
Front tires should be inflated to 14 psi and rear tires to 10 psi for optimal performance.
Check if the deck is level, ensure the blades are sharp and balanced, and inspect the tire pressure. Adjust settings as needed.
Use a brush to remove grass clippings and debris from the deck and other parts. Avoid using high-pressure water directly on the engine or electrical components.
Check the drive belt for wear or damage, ensure the linkage is correctly adjusted, and inspect the transmission fluid level.
Clean the tractor, drain the fuel, disconnect the battery, and store it in a dry, covered area. Consider using a fuel stabilizer if fuel is not drained.
