To connect your LG NanoCell 86NANO90UNA TV to Wi-Fi, go to Settings > Network > Wi-Fi Connection. Select your network from the list and enter the password if required.
If the remote is not working, try replacing the batteries, ensuring there is no obstruction between the remote and the TV, and resetting the remote by removing the batteries and pressing all buttons for 3 seconds.
To perform a factory reset, go to Settings > All Settings > General > Reset to Initial Settings. Confirm the reset when prompted.
To update the firmware, go to Settings > All Settings > Support > Software Update. Check for updates and follow the prompts to install if an update is available.
Ensure that the TV is not muted, the volume is up, and the correct audio output is selected. Check audio settings under Settings > All Settings > Sound.
Enable HDMI-CEC by going to Settings > All Settings > General > SIMPLINK (HDMI-CEC), and toggle it to On.
For optimal picture quality, use the 'Cinema' or 'ISF Expert (Bright Room)' mode, and adjust the backlight, contrast, and sharpness settings to your preference.
Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the screen. Avoid using liquids or chemical cleaners directly on the screen.
Check the power cable connection, try a different power outlet, and ensure the remote batteries are functioning. If the issue persists, contact LG support.
To set up parental controls, go to Settings > Safety > Set Password. Once the password is set, you can configure restrictions on content and apps.
