It is recommended to change the oil every 100 hours of operation or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Always use the oil type specified in the owner's manual.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using ethanol-blended fuels greater than 10% ethanol.
To adjust the carburetor, locate the idle mixture screw and the idle speed screw. Adjust the idle mixture screw to achieve a smooth idle, then set the idle speed screw to the desired idle RPM. Consult the service manual for specific settings.
First, check the fuel level and battery charge. Ensure the kill switch is in the 'run' position and the choke is appropriately set. If it still doesn't start, inspect the spark plug and fuel lines.
Regularly inspect brake pads for wear and replace them if necessary. Check brake fluid levels and ensure there are no leaks in the brake lines. Adjust brake cable tension as needed.
The recommended tire pressure is 2.2 psi for the front tires and 2.9 psi for the rear tires. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and wash it with a mild detergent and water. Allow it to dry completely, then lightly oil it before reinstalling.
Common causes include low coolant levels, a blocked radiator, or a malfunctioning thermostat. Regularly check coolant levels and ensure the radiator is clean and unobstructed.
Regular maintenance such as oil changes, air filter cleaning, and proper tire pressure can enhance performance. Additionally, consider upgrading the exhaust system or installing performance-enhancing parts.
Before storage, clean the ATV thoroughly, change the oil, and add a fuel stabilizer to the gas tank. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Inflate tires to the recommended pressure and cover the ATV to protect it from dust and moisture.
