Polaris Youth Outlaw 51 Owner's Manual

To start the Polaris Youth Outlaw 51, ensure the vehicle is in neutral, turn on the ignition switch, pull the choke if the engine is cold, and press the starter button until the engine starts. Release the choke as the engine warms up.
Regular maintenance includes checking and changing the oil, inspecting and cleaning the air filter, checking tire pressures, and inspecting the brakes. Follow the schedule in the owner's manual for detailed intervals.
Check the fuel level and ensure the fuel valve is open, verify the battery is charged, inspect the spark plug for fouling or damage, and ensure the kill switch is in the 'run' position.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and clean it with a mild detergent and warm water. Allow it to dry completely before reinstallation. Lightly oil the filter before placing it back.
To adjust the chain tension, loosen the rear axle nuts, adjust the chain tensioners evenly on both sides until the chain has about 1/2 inch of slack, then retighten the axle nuts.
Stop the vehicle immediately and allow it to cool down. Check the coolant level and ensure the radiator is not blocked. Inspect for leaks or damaged hoses and consult a professional if necessary.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, use a spark plug socket to remove the old spark plug, and install a new one with the correct gap setting. Reattach the spark plug wire securely.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using ethanol blends higher than E10 as they may cause damage to the engine.
Clean the vehicle thoroughly, perform all recommended maintenance, stabilize the fuel, disconnect the battery, and store the ATV in a dry, cool place under a protective cover.
The oil should be changed every 20 hours of operation or at least once per season, whichever comes first. Refer to the owner’s manual for detailed instructions on changing the oil.
