To descale your Jura Impressa E50/E55, follow these steps: 1) Remove the water filter from the water tank. 2) Add the Jura descaling tablet to the water tank filled with water. 3) Press the maintenance button and follow the on-screen instructions to start the descaling process.
If your coffee is not hot enough, check the temperature setting on the machine. You can increase the temperature via the settings menu. Also, pre-warm your cup with hot water before brewing to maintain coffee temperature.
If the machine is not brewing, check if the water tank is filled and properly positioned. Ensure that the coffee beans are not stuck in the grinder and that the brewing unit is correctly inserted.
Adjust the coffee strength by rotating the coffee strength dial, usually located on the front panel, to your preferred setting. The settings range from mild to strong.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the machine, descaling, and changing the water filter as needed. The machine will prompt you when maintenance tasks are required.
To clean the milk frother, disassemble it and rinse all components with warm water. Use a brush to clean the nozzle if necessary. Reassemble the frother after cleaning.
Refer to the user manual to identify the specific error message. Common solutions include resetting the machine, checking water and bean levels, and ensuring all parts are fitted correctly.
Open the pre-ground coffee chute, add one scoop of pre-ground coffee, and select the pre-ground coffee option on the control panel. Ensure no beans are in the grinder during this process.
If the grinder is not working, check for blockages or jammed beans. Clean the grinder area and adjust the grind setting if necessary. Ensure the machine is unplugged before cleaning.
Replace the water filter every two months or as indicated by the machine’s filter change prompt. This helps maintain water quality and prolongs the machine’s life.
